Robert K. Schultz, PhD is
President for REVA Medical. Prior to joining REVA, Dr. Schultz
held the positions of Vice President of Research and Development and Vice
President of Technology Strategy and Licensing for Dura Pharmaceuticals,
and Research Specialist for 3M Pharmaceuticals. He is a 27-year veteran
of the pharma industry. Dr. Schultz obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutics
and his BS degree in Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota.
Katrina
Thompson brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as
Vice President of Finance and Administration. Prior to joining REVA,
Ms. Thompson was Vice President and Controller at Color Spot Nurseries
and has held senior finance positions in the telecom, real estate, and
high tech industries. Ms. Thompson is a CPA and spent her early career
with Price Waterhouse. She received her BS in Business Administration
from San Diego State University.
Joan Zeltinger, PhD is Vice
President of Scientific Affairs. Dr. Zeltinger has 15 years of industry
research and business experience. Previously she directed Advanced Tissue
Sciences' bioresorbable coronary graft and tissue engineered heart valve programs.
She is known for her work as Chairwoman and developer of ASTM standards
for combination medical products. She has published a number of scientific
manuscripts and holds 6 US issued patents. Dr. Zeltinger conducted her
post-doctoral work at the School of Medicine, University of Washington.
She received her PhD in Biology from the University of South Carolina, and
BS in Biology from the University of North Dakota.
Jeff Anderson is the Vice President of
Regulatory and Clinical Affairs. Mr. Anderson has more than 15 years of
experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining REVA, Mr.
Anderson held the position of Vice President of Regulatory and
Clinical Affairs at JOMED, an internationally based cardiovascular
medical device company. Mr. Anderson's prior regulatory and clinical
experience also includes several senior level management positions for
cardiovascular, ophthalmic and surgical device manufacturers. Mr.
Anderson holds a BS in Physics from California State University
Fullerton.
Don Brandom, PhD is the
Vice President of Biomaterials Product Development. In his 18 years of industry experience, he has held
management and product development positions in the aerospace materials,
microelectronics materials and medical device industries. Dr. Brandom earned his PhD
in Materials Engineering Science at Virginia Tech, and BS in Chemistry
at the University of California at Davis.
Eric Schmid
is Vice President of Engineering and Stent Development. Mr. Schmid has 13 years of experience in the design and development
of a wide variety of medical devices and technologies. Prior
to joining REVA, he was Senior Development Engineer for a privately
held medical device company where he developed novel technologies for
companies including Abbott Laboratories, Guidant, Medtronic and Boston
Scientific. Mr. Schmid holds multiple patents in medical devices, technologies
and materials. He obtained his BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College
and completed graduate studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of
California, San Diego.
Cheryl Liberatore brings
more than 10 years of medical device experience to her role as Director
of Corporate Development. Prior to joining REVA, Ms. Liberatore held
product management and marketing communications positions at "A" Company
Orthodontics and Medtronic. She received her BA degree in psychology
from San Diego State University.
